Cilentolab‘s Creative Aperitivo is an extraordinary experience that allows us to put our creativity into play. Every sense is involved in a harmonious way: sight gets lost amidst the colours and uniqueness of the places, taste explores local flavours thanks to the tastings inspired by the Mediterranean diet, selected and interpreted by Donatella and Matteo di Roadaggio, the sense of smell is entwined with scents of wine and the earth, hearing is accompanied by harmonic notes and new voices, while touch experiments through the creation of a piece in clay or painting on ceramics. An emotional symphony in an enchanting place in the heart of Cilento.

Where are we?
The setting for this experience is CilentoLab, an artistic pottery workshop located in Orria, a village nestled in the Cilento National Park. With its ancient cobblestone streets, characteristic stone buildings, and charming historical atmosphere, Orria offers a unique and fascinating setting. Exploring this village is a journey back in time, enriched by its authenticity and the beauty of its views.
To access CilentoLab, one descends an ancient staircase to a place that was once the town's bakery. The interior is cozy and atmospheric because it has preserved the stone walls and has the charm of a new-generation art workshop. In autumn and winter, we use the large table in the entrance hall to realize this experience, In spring and summer we use the garden and the experience is enriched with the excitement of the sunset with Capri sullo background.

TIPS
If you arrive an hour early, we recommend a short walk to Piano Vetrale, only 4 km away from Orria. Famous for being the birthplace of renowned painter Paolo De Matteis, Piano Vetrale welcomes visitors with its vibrant artistic tradition and several dozen murals decorating its streets, turning it into a fascinating open-air museum. An ideal place for a peaceful stroll, where you can soak in its colors and charming narrow streets before arriving in Orria for the CREATIVE APERITIVO.
WHAT COULD I NEED?
● Orria, located 540 meters above sea level, may be cooler than the coast. We recommend that you bring a shirt with you

● clay or ceramic base
● pigments
apron
● tools (mirettes, sponges, brushes, books, and pictures to consult...)
● first firing of the artifact (if needed)

IS IT A SUITABLE ACTIVITY FOR CHILDREN?
Of course, working with clay is a nice activity to do as a family.

IF YOU COME FROM OUTSIDE, IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE YOUR WORKS BY COURIER?
Of course. Everyone will have to retrieve their work after the experience because each piece must dry and be baked.
We will agree on the different arrangements at the end of the course.
